Making an Effective Mural
Mural
A large art work that is usually painted on or attached to a wall or ceiling in a public place.
Tips
Murals are usually done by a group of students, which can pose problems with individual and work space. With young children, it may be better to use cut paper as a medium to allow them to work individually on a part of the project, and then attach it to the main piece when they have finished. This of course would not be a permanent mural, but one that is hung indoors for a period of time. If you are working with an older group, paint will be the best way to represent the mural. Those can be done on a permanent surface with acrylic paint. In most cases, any art materials will work much like they do for posters.
