Making an Effective Photo Montage or Collage
Photo Montage
A picture made by combining parts of different photographs.
Collage
Art work made by gluing bits of paper, pictures, fabric, or other materials to a flat surface.
Tips
- Cut or tear photos or materials neatly.
- When gluing, make sure only a thin line is applied to the outside edge.
- Overlap edges to unify the design.
- Use a contrasting or neutral sturdy background such as cardboard or heavy paper.
