AWAKE Pictures

Dr. Monte McGregor visits Wolfe Co. High School for a presentation on the distribution and life cycle of native and invasive species of mussels and clams. Pictures include mussel shells with “button blanks” (remnants of an old industry in Kentucky), cultured pearl nuclei taken from mussel shells and zebra mussels attached to a rock.
